We got names!

After allot of research we came to the conclusion for our little friends from AniDroid animation.

First of all both projects will be renamed. Dues to the fact that reading the Android Branding rules Names such as Droid cant be use in a name, however we can use Android with permission which we will ask for it so for the meantime we will leave the names as it is until we come up with a nice tittle for the projects when we start promoting them.

Also we got nice news! We can use our little android friends as long we specify the shared design and creation is from google. That just gave us a green light! However we cant use the company devices name to identify them unless we go into paperwork and permission so we came up with pretty simple names for them: Japanese colors!

It would be boring to call them red, blue etc. So we came up with something different.

Midori – green Android
Akai- red Android
Kiiro- yellow android
Aoi- blue android
Shiroi- White android
Kuroi- Black android

So you might heard us calling them midori-chan or akai-san ! In the mean time we are working in finishing concepts and starting the modeling.

Projects at Hand

LB Studio is proud to announce we will be working on two new projects. This projects are directly from LB Studio’s idea for the Android device fans. The first project is called Project PhoneDroid an shooting rpg game. We were first aiming it to be a pc game but after allot of thinking we decide to give the change to our android devices as well. The game is at its first steps. We’re still building up the story and game design. Also we have to deal with name license and all those legal thing (Or we could do like the japanese that uses alternate names similars to the original one ).

The Second one is still not name but it will consist of small episodes of humor between our little android friends. We will be introducing original concept from us and the original google android character used in their logo.

We’ll keep you inform on the matter.

We recently decided to make this page a blog in order to post different works and prototypes we work on or we might work on. Also such format allow us to keep you inform of the progress of every work and portfolio pieces we add. For the moment the the only areas accessible are basic information about us.
